How the Internet Drives Social Transformation
Stefana Broadbent hat ein paar sehr spannende Zahlen zum modernen Kommunikationsverhalten zusammengetragen und bei TED präsentiert. Sie spricht von einer “social transformation”.
Neben dem Video unten, was man sich unbedingt anschauen muß, hier noch ein paar Zahlen aus Stefana’s Erhebung:
- Facebook: Average user has 120 friends, but he actually talks to 4-6 people on a regular basis
- IM: Average user has 100 friends on buddy list, but people chat with less than 5 of them
- Mobile Phones: 80% of calls are actually made to 4 people. When you go to Skype, it’s down to 2 people
- E-Mail: 50% of anybody with e-mail access at work is actually doing private e-mail from his office, the peak for private e-mail is actually 11 o’clock in the morning
