“101 Guidelines for the Digital World”
Ein schon längst überfälliges Thema: Die Telekom hat sich in einem großen Projekt in Kooperation mit dem Royal College of Arts in London der Frage nach Höflichkeitsformen im Zeitalter von Facebook, mobiler- und digitaler Kommunikation gewidmet. Dabei herausgekommen sind 101 nicht immer ganz ernst gemeinte Leitlinien, die sich als eine Art digitaler Knigge wohl am Besten beschreiben lassen.
Harald Neidhardt hat mit seinem Format M.LOVE, welches er Anfang 2009 ins Leben rief nicht nur seinen Traum von “TED FOR MOBILE” umgesetzt sondern neue Maßstäbe in Sachen Technologie Events gesetzt. Harald’s Gespür für Menschen und das damit verbundene Talent das wohl beste Team zur Umsetzung seines Traums zusammenzustellen hat dieses Format überhaupt erst möglich gemacht. Berlin, 04-06-2010 – MLOVE (www.mlove.com) has a new date for the ConFestival and is proud to announce new Keynote speakers: Beverly W. Jackson, Senior Marketing Manager of the GRAMMY Awards and Nick E. Heller, in charge of Business Development for Google’s European future incubation labs. They will be joined by Richard D. Titus, CEO of Associated Northcliffe Digital (AND, part of the Daily Mail) – UK’s leading digital publisher of premium-content consumer websites. Media Futurist Jonathan MacDonald of JME.net will lead an “Open Space” innovation format. Altogether, MLOVE invited 30+ global mobile thought leaders from the likes of BMW, Flirtomatic, 1Goal and AutoDesk.
From the evening of June 23rd to June 25th, 2010, the global mobile community will join together to experience a new event format called the MLOVE ConFestival.
Set in an ancient castle south of Berlin, about 200 decision makers and futurists with a mobile background will create their vision of the future of mobile. Participants and speakers from within and from outside the mobile industry will come from as far as Japan and Silicon Valley, reflecting the recognition that mobile has become ubiquitous around the world. It is time for the mobile industry to interact with thought leaders from all disciplines and interests to learn from eachother about how best to utilize mobile to enhance our lives and businesses.
“The MLOVE ConFestival is designed to encourage networking and provides the participants with the opportunity to really get to know eachother in an informal atmosphere. Our goal is to strengthen relationships between the mobile elite and thought leaders from other industries and disciplines,” stated ConFestival Director Peter Giblin.
“This event is mandatory for anybody who wants to keep up with the rapid development of the mobile industry” said Stefanie Hoffman, CEO of mobile social company Aka-Aki, Berlin.

Ich habe vor einiger Zeit die App “WaveSecure” auf mein Android Handy geladen. Die App ermöglicht es z.B. im Falle eines Diebstahles über das Web UI das Telefon zu sperren, sämtliche Daten, die sich auf dem Handy befinden, in der Cloud zu sichern und ebenso diese Daten vom Telefon zu löschen. Meiner Meinung nach ein toller Service, in Theorie.
Nun saß ich vergangene Woche im Flugzeug und stellte mein Handy vor Abflug in den Flugmodus. Offensichtlich ein Bug löste die Sperrung des Handys durch Aktivierung der App aus. D.h. mein Handy war komplett funktionsuntüchtig. Der PIN, den ich für die Entsperrung vergeben und umgehend eingegeben hatte, wurde nicht akzeptiert. Also schrieb ich von meinem iPhone, dass ich glücklicherweise dabei hatte, eine Email an den Kundenservice von WaveSecure. Der Kundenservice reagierte auch und half, allerdings erst über 6 Std. später. D.h. über dieses Handy war es mir nicht möglich Emails, Anrufe und Textnachrichten zu versenden und zu empfangen. Ich war nicht erreichbar für den Großteil eines Arbeitstages. Ein durchaus großer wirtschaftlicher Schaden, (wäre dies mein einziges Handy gewesen) den der Bug verursacht hat.
Ich bin ein großer Fan von Startups und neuen Apps und werde nach wie vor alles neue in diesem Bereich ausprobieren. Aber diese Erfahrung hat mir wieder in Erinnerung geholt, wie wichtig eine funktionierende Kundenservice Struktur ist. Wenn ich als Startup eine App im Bereich Handy Security entwickele, dann muss ich auch den dazugehörigen ‘real-time’ Kundenservice anbieten, denn auch der ist Teil der App bzw. des Angebotes.
